After taking the quiz on the Exodus, Miss Linehan will speak to us about her experiences in Uganda this past summer. The intention is to tie in the oppression of the Ugandan people to the story of the Exodus - the oppression of the Hebrew slaves and their cries for freedom. **NOTE** Block 3 ran out of time and did not take the quiz; they will do so on Monday, March 5.

As a follow up to the Prince of Egypt, we completed the Exodus worksheet together, as a class. There will be a quiz on this information on Thursday, March 1, 2007. We also took a look at some Negro Spirituals, and related the cries of freedom of the blacks during the times of slavery and the Civil Rights Movement in the United States to the Exodus and the events leading up to it. The last part of class was an open note "quiz" on the reading you did for today on the Passover celebration.
