Students saw their scores on the chapter 6 test (I will return them and go over them on Wednesday once everyone has taken the test). We then began chapter 7, the Prophets. Notes included information on how the united kingdom of Israel split into the northern and southern kingdoms and the role of the prophets in the northern kingdom. Specifically, notes were given on Elijah, Elisha, and Amos. We began to talk about Hosea by listening to the song "Hosea", but ran out of time to take any notes on and discuss him. Throughout the class, we talked about why people worship false gods and who some modern day prophets are. Proverbs Bookmarks are due on Wednesday, May 2.
