Chapter 5 exercises were collected; service hour reminders were distributed - last date for service hours to be turned in is May 18, 2007. This allows me a 2-3 week time period before the end of the school year to review them and for the students to complete any missing information. Twenty hours must be completed by that date.
After viewing the judges' comic strips, we discussed each of the stories and their characters. We then looked at the story of Ruth, an outsider who was loyal to her mother-in-law and adopted Yahweh as her God. Since this is Holy Week, we finished the class in the chapel with a guided meditation on the suffering and death of Jesus.
