We started by completing a worksheet about how certain biblical characters experienced God's call and how they responded. We then discussed these responses, acknowledging that God works through flawed and imperfect people like Jonah, who ran from God, and Saul, the first king of the Israelites, who disobeyed God. Notes were given on Saul's kingship and how and why David came into the picture. We will continue the notes on David on Friday, April 20.
